As the Director of Wellness at Golden Lodge Assisted Living & Memory Care, you will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This leadership role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care plans, and collaborating with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote a safe, supportive environment. Key duties include managing clinical oversight, medication administration, and infection control; leading staff training and development; ensuring adherence to Colorado assisted living regulations and Department of Health standards; and serving as a liaison for families and healthcare partners to support resident well-being.
Schedule: This is a full-time position.
What you will need:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Colorado (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in an assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting (required).
- Strong knowledge of Colorado assisted living regulations and resident rights (required).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external healthcare providers.
